Important Notice

Winter Quarter 2012 is the last quarter students will be able to submit a paper copy of their thesis or dissertation to the Graduate School. Beginning Spring Quarter 2012, paper submission will no longer be available; all graduate students will be required to submit an electronic thesis/dissertation (ETD), including students using the Graduate Registration Waiver Fee.

The information and instructions for electronic submission and paper submission are different. Please be careful to follow only the instructions pertinent to you.

The Graduate School and UW Libraries are presenting an information session for graduate students who are submitting a thesis or dissertation Winter or Spring 2012. This session will focus on instructions for the new electronic submission process, but will include information for those who still plan to submit a paper copy for Winter Quarter.
